Kalahari Resort, Sandusky Ohio. Outdoor activities?

We are planning a SUMMER vacation in Sandusky Ohio and will be staying at the Kalahari Resort. So much information can be found regarding the indoor waterpark and activities, but there is limited information on what is offered outdoors. Since we will be there during warmer weather, we would like to spend some time outside.

Specifically, I would like to know:

1- Are there any outdoor slides?
2- Are there any pools beyone a kiddie/ toddler pool? If so, how deep?
3- Any other outdoor activities?

Please provide any info you have.
Please remember this is the one in Sandusky which is different from Wisconsin.
Can’t anyone just answer the questions? What outdoor activities do they have? Yes, we are going to Cedar Point as well but want to know what the Kalahari specifically offers outdoors.

The best time outside in Sandusky is Cedar Point. The best advice I can offer to you is to cancel your reservation at Kalahari. I just stayed there and while the room and waterpark is fun, everything else is overprice and poor quality. The food is bad and the service is sub-par. You would have a better time if you found a package and went to Cedar Point or Soak City, which is located at Cedar Point. Both a great time and outdoors. I am from that area and have enjoyed many days at Cedar Point. Also the water park at the Great Wolf Lodge is better suited for toddlers…kalahari seemed more suited for teenage and preteen. I hope this helps.
